Good Keswick Arts & Crafts Copper Cylinder Vase
A well-made Arts & Crafts copper cylinder vase, dating to circa 1900, decorated with a series of Romanesque arches with stylised flower buds between. I have kindly been informed that this is almost certainly by the Keswick School of Industrial Arts, although unmarked, and was probably the base of a tea caddy. It still works very well as a vase, and is an unusual design and a pretty rare thing! The work is very crisp and accurate and it is in good condition, commensurate with age, with only minor scratching and a slightly misshapen rim. It measures 19cm high by 13cm max diameter.
