Good Pair of Arts and Crafts Wrought Iron Fire Dogs
A good pair of Arts and Crafts Fire Dogs or Fire Iron Stands, dating to circa 1920-30. They are unmarked but appear similar to pieces made by Archibald Carne in Truro, Cornwall, but could just as easily be Artificers Guild. They are excellent quality and a great design! They measure 23cm ( 9") high, and 23cm (9") long, with maximum width at foot of 14.5cm (5 3/4"). Condition is good, commensurate with age. Price includes UK postage.
