Hugh Wallis Arts & Crafts Copper And Wirework Bowl
A good Hugh Wallis Arts & Crafts copper and wirework bowl, dating to circa 1920, standing on three domed supports. Hugh Wallis worked in Altringham, Cheshire, from circa 1900 to 1940. Offered in good condition, commensurate with age, the bowl has been lacquered since new which has preserved the silvered design of the exterior and the silvered wirework band to the rim. Stamped with his monogram to the base it is a good example of his work. It measures 16cm max diameter and 6.5cm high.
