Hugh Wallis Arts & Crafts Copper Bowl
A lovely Hugh Wallis circular copper bowl, dating to circa 1920-40, with inlaid pewter decoration of flowers and berries to the centre and chevron border. Hugh Wallis had a workshop in Altringham, Cheshire, from 1900-1940 and produced copper worked with pewter inlays, predominantly floral studies. Retaining its original oxidised finish, lacquer and applied pewter it is in good condition, commensurate with age. There are some slight markings to the finish of the lacquer in the bowl but overall it displays very well. One of a collection of Hugh Wallis pieces I am currently listing. It measures 20.5cm in diameter and 4.75cm high. The price includes UK postage..
