Hugh Wallis Arts & Crafts Copper Tray
A Hugh Wallis shaped rectangular copper tray, dating to circa 1920, decorated with a central silvered or pewtered reserve of flowers and a rope twist edge. Hugh Wallis worked from circa 1900 to 1940 and had a workshop in Altrincham, Cheshire. The tray is In reasonable condition, commensurate with age, although it does show some minor signs of wear. There is some rubbing to the silvering on the flowers and some variation to the patina on the tray, but it displays well! A useful size, it measures 38.5cm by 17cm.
