Hugh Wallis Arts & Crafts Large Copper Bowl
A good and rare large Hugh Wallis boat shaped copper bowl, dating to circa 1920-40, with inlaid pewter decoration to the rim and lozenge form raised detail. Almost trug shaped, without the handle, it stands on 4 shaped feet. Hugh Wallis had a workshop in Altringham, Cheshire, from 1900-1940 and produced copper worked with pewter inlays, predominantly floral studies. Retaining its original lacquered oxidised finish and applied pewter this is a In good condition, commensurate with age. One of a collection of Hugh Wallis pieces I am currently listing.
