Irish Penwork Shamrock Aesthetic Occasional Table
A striking Irish aesthetic movement penwork table, dating to circa 1880, with triple lobed or trefoil form top with decoration including Harps and shamrocks within a Celtic border, conforming base shelf and shaped out swept supports. Offered in pretty good condition, commensurate with age, there is wear to the penwork with a faded area in the centre of the top, but overall it displays well. This wear could be touched in but I preferred to leave as is. It has been re-glued so is structurally sound and measures 65cm tall and 43cm max across the top.
