John Pearson Arts & Crafts Copper Plaque c1900
A lovely small Arts & Crafts copper plaque, made by John Pearson, and dating to circa 1900. Although unmarked it bears many of his typical motifs, including the sunflower detail to the centre, heavy gauge of copper and hammered background and is thus attributed to him. It has a hanging hook to the reverse so can be wall hung. Offered in pretty good condition, commensurate with age, there is some rubbing but it displays well and measures 16.2cm diameter.
