Large Arts Crafts Gothic Oak Candlestick 47" Tall
A large Ecclesiastical Gothic oak candlestick, dating to circa 1900, with turned stem, brass mounts and original painted faux candle with oil lamp inset. A great looking piece, and one of two I have listed - the other being slightly shorter. Offered in good condition, commensurate with age, it is strong and solid with good colour. There are a couple of small areas of paint loss from the faux candlestick but not particularly noticeable. The actual candlestick measures 120cm tall (47"), with the candle another 63cm (25"), making a total height of 183cm or 72" (6 ft). So it's large! The other similar one I have for sale is a total height of 174cm. The last photo shows them side by side. They certainly work as a pair! Please contact me for a delivery price.
