Large Hugh Wallis Arts & Crafts Copper Tray 23"

Large Hugh Wallis Arts & Crafts Copper Tray 23"
A lovely large Hugh Wallis circular copper tray, dating to circa 1920-40, with inlaid pewter decoration to the centre and border. Hugh Wallis had a workshop in Altringham, Cheshire, from 1900-1940 and produced copper worked with pewter inlays, predominantly floral studies. Retaining its original oxidised finish, lacquer and applied pewter this is a large tray - almost 2 feet in diameter, and looks great! In good condition, commensurate with age, there are some markings to the finish but overall it displays very well. One of a collection of Hugh Wallis pieces I am currently listing. It measures 58cm in diameter. Useful either as a tray or as a display piece, I can provide a hanging pad for wall mounting. The price includes Uk postage.
