Liberty & Co Carved Japanese Side Table
A great Japanese carved hardwood occasional table, dating to circa 1910, and probably imported by Liberty and Co. These tables were imported from Japan unassembled and were designed to slot together so they could easily be posted. Carved with a bold design of sunflowers it is strong and stable, and is offered in good condition, commensurate with age, with good original colour. There is an old repair to the bottom of one leg that can be seen in one of the photographs but it has been repaired well and is barely visible. A practical and useful size at 71cm high and 41cm diameter it really does look good in the flesh. The price includes UK postage. The final photo shows it with two other similar tables currently for sale.
