Liberty Arts & Crafts Moorish Pembroke Table
A lovely Liberty Arts and Crafts Moorish Pembroke or drop leaf table, dating to circa 1890. A great design and so practical with its two drop leaves that are solidly held in the upright position by slides. Whilst unmarked it is clearly a variant of the table photographed in Daryl Bennetts excellent book on Liberty's Furniture. Offered in pretty good condition, commensurate with age, there are some light markings to the top but nothing really obvious and, most importantly, the Mashrabiya panels are in good condition. It measures 68.5cm high, 50cm wide closed and 109cm wide open, and 48.5cm deep. Local delivery within 30 miles of Taunton is included.
