Liberty Japanese Carved Hardwood Occasional Table
A sweet little Liberty Japanese low occasional table, dating to circa 1910, with hexagonal top. These tables were sold by Liberty & Co as part of their exotic furniture range and were sent as flat-packs as each leg slots into the top with the base shelf holding it all together. Crisply carved overall with flowers and foliage it is a useful size and has been glued, cleaned and rewaxed and is strong and stable. Offered in good condition, commensurate with age, the underside of the top has a repair where one one of the supports is attached but this is not visible when in use. It measures 46.5cm tall and 43cm max diameter. The price includes UK postage.
