Liberty Tudric Pewter Rose Bowl Veasey 1900
A Liberty & Co Tudric Arts & Crafts two handle pewter rose bowl, pattern number 011, designed by David Veasey and manufactured circa 1900. Decorated with a pattern of roses and an inscription taken from a poem by Alfred, Lord Tennyson, it really is a lovely design. "And the woodbine spices are wafted abroad and the musk of the roses blown". In its original untouched state it is in pretty good condition, commensurate with age, with a good heavy patina. There are some surface markings but it displays very well. You could always have it stripped and polished but I prefer it as is!. It measures 24cm diameter, 31.5cm including the handles, and is 11.8cm high. The price includes UK postage. Please contact me for overseas delivery.
