Lovely Goberg Arts & Crafts Owl Paper Clip
A Goberg Arts & Crafts steel paper or desk clip, dating to circa 1910, made in the form of an Owl. Manufactured by Hugo Berger at the Goberg factory in Schmalkalden, Germany, it is very much in the Medieval Revival style. Stamped Goberg to the base. Offered in good condition, commensurate with age, it measure 14.3cm long, 6.7cm wide and 2.6cm max high. Goberg used owls on a number of models they produced and I think this is one of the best - it is a lovely little piece and is currently sitting on our study desk! The price includes UK postage.
