A Maw and Co Art Pottery ruby lustre wall plaque, circa 1890, decorated with a devil amongst foliage. This is probably designed by Lewis F Day. It was made at the Maw and Co Tile Works in Jackfield, Shropshire, which at the end of the 19th Century was the largest tile works in the world. - Measurements - Diameter 34cm (13 1/4") - Depth 4cm (1 1/2") - Condition - Commensurate with age. - No chips, cracks or restoration. - Some surface scratches and age related crazing. - Overall firing a little dark. - Price includes UK postage. please contact me for overseas delivery.
