Newlyn Copper Arts & Crafts Cylinder Vase c 1900
A Newlyn repousse copper cylinder vase, decorated with 3 fish amongst seaweed, dating to circa 1900. It is of heavy gauge copper, with a good patina, and has a wonderful riveted shaped strap work joint. The interior has much tinning remaining. Unmarked but definitely Newlyn. It measures 13cm ( 5 1/4") high and 7cm ( 3") diameter and weighs just under 250 grams. Its condition is good, commensurate with age, with light wear and some small dents.
