Newlyn Copper Barnstaple Pin Dish
A neat little Newlyn copper pin dish, dating to circa 1910-20, decorated with the Barnstaple crest and marked with the Newlyn stamp. A souvenir, perhaps for sale in local shops, i've not come across one before. Barnstaple in North Devon was, of course, renowned for the production of Arts and Crafts furniture at Shapland and Petter. Offered in reasonable condition, commensurate with age, the crest is a little rubbed but still clearly visible, as can be seen from the photographs. It measures 12cm diameter.
