Newlyn Industrial Class Copper Tray Chased Dragons
A wonderful Arts and Crafts copper tray, chased with 4 matching dragons. Whilst unmarked I am sure it is a piece of Newlyn Industrial Class metalware. It is very similar to one illustrated on page 57 of Cornish Art Metalwork by Colin Pill. The illustrated tray was enscribed to the back "Designed by J D Mackenzie and Worked by William P Wright, Newlyn Industrial Class, Newlyn, Penzance" -
