Olbury Arts & Crafts Planished Brass Box
A simple yet striking Arts & Crafts planished brass box, dating to circa 1925, with planished decoration and studded details to the corners. Stamped to the base with the makers mark "Olbury", which, according to the very useful Oldcopper website, was the trade mark for Olney & Newbury Ltd of Ickleford, Herts. It has a wood liner so originally would have been intended for cigarettes. Offered in good condition, commensurate with age, it measures 12.5cm wide, 10cm deep and 6cm high. The price includes Uk postage.
