Period Arts & Crafts Marquetry Portrait of a Lady
A lovely period Arts and Crafts / Nouveau marquetry and pen work portrait of a lady, very much in the Dutch old master style. It is signed by J F P Gamm and dated 1918. It is set in its original oak frame, which suits it very well. It has a lovely relaxed tone to it, both in subject matter and colouration. The image measures 24cm by 19cm and the frame overall measures 33.5cm by 28.5cm. Its condition is commensurate with age, and pretty good overall, with very minor marking.
