Rare Arts & Crafts Ruskin Picture Hook 1
A rather wonderful and rare Arts & Crafts picture hook, dating to circa 1906, set to the centre with a Ruskin type ceramic rondel. The body is copper plated, probably on brass. One of two I have for sale, it is stamped with the registration number 452857 dating it to 1906 to 1907. Offered in good original condition, commensurate with age, with only small age related marking, it measures 8cm high by 5cm wide, with the Ruskin 2cm in diameter. I have never seen any others and it really is perfect to add the finishing touch to hanging a picture or mirror from a picture rail.
