Shapland and Petter Arts & Crafts Oak Desk c1910
A Shapland and Petter oak single pedestal desk with the locks stamped SPB. Bearing many of the design details used by Shapland and Petter, including the shaped legs and feet, it dates to between 1900 and 1910. It has a useful slide to one end and drawers to the other and is a neat and convenient size at 92cm (36") wide, 53.5cm (21") deep and 78cm (30 1/2") high. Offered in good condition, commensurate with age, it has a replacement desk leather and a small shrinkage split that has been infilled and coloured between the desk leather and the edge with the slide.
