Shapland and Petter Oak Arts and Crafts Hall Stand
A lovely simple Arts and Crafts oak hall stand, made by Shapland and Petter of Barnstaple circa 1900. It is a practical size and will fit into most homes. At under 12 inches deep it won't take up too much space in the hall. Although unmarked it has many of the typical details of a Shapland piece - the square shaped columns, the finials and the circular mirror. It has been refinished and is presented in good condition. The brass hanging hooks are all there, as are the two original drip trays in the base.
The measurements are as follows - Height 188cm (74") - Width 61cm (24") at top, 56cm (22") at base - Depth 26.5cm (10 1/2") - Please note that the circular bevel glass mirror is in good condition.
