Shapland Arts & Crafts Oak Reclining Armchair
A great Arts & Crafts oak framed patent reclining armchair, dating to circa 1900-1910, bearing a patent stamp P7470/13. Probably manufactured by Shapland & Petter it has a great look and also is very comfortable. The patent reclining mechanism means the seat slides forward as you recline, making it supremely easy to use. Offered in good condition, commensurate with age, it has been reupholstered fairly recently I believe. It measures 95cm high, 70cm wide and 78.5cm long, extending to 106cm when reclined.
