Victorian Gothic Steel Brass Fire Tongs circa 1870
A wonderful quality pair of Victorian Gothic Revival fire tongs, dating to circa 1870. They are very well detailed with spiral twist handle, spade form ends, are heavy and strongly made. Please note the handle is kinked in the photos as the tongs are open and would be straight when closed. They are offered in good condition, commensurate with age, with only slight give at the hinge, and measure 74.5cm in length. The price includes UK postage.
