W H Mawson Keswick Arts Crafts Copper Dragon Plate
An attractive W H Mawson of Keswick Arts & Crafts copper plate, decorated with an embossed dragon, dating to circa 1910. Mawson set up his own company, Keswick Home Industries, around 1900 and employed a number of workers from the Keswick School, particularly over the winter months when the School didn't operate. Offered in pretty good condition, commensurate with age, with only minor rubbing, albeit it has been polished at some time. it measures 22cm diameter and a maximum depth of 2cm.
