W/C Illustration King Richard III Mary Potter 1920
A rather nice and well-detailed watercolour illustration of King Richard III and his courtiers, dating to 1920, and possibly by Mary Potter (1900-1981). It is a well-painted image and looks to be possibly intended as a children's book illustration. Inscribed bottom right in ink King Richard III and signed in pencil with the initials MP. Offered in good condition, commensurate with age, it has been reframed, the image measuring 24cm high by 28.5cm wide. The price includes UK postage.
