Youghal AMW Irish Arts & Crafts Copper Trivet

Youghal AMW Irish Arts & Crafts Copper Trivet
A Youghal, County Cork, Art Metal Workshop copper trivet or tea pot stand, dating to circa 1910. The This is the first piece I have found. The design is very similar to Keswick, unsurprising as Thomas Sparks had travelled there in 1904 to help train the workers. It is fully stamped with the Youghal AMW marks to one edge. It is offered in reasonable condition, commensurate with age. There is a small split to the edge of one side and also under the rivets in one corner, along with some creases, all visible in the last image. But overall for what is a rare thing it displays well! It measures 22.5cm square and is 8cm tall.
