About Us

Levels Antiques consists of two quite diverse knowledge bases.

Adrian has collected Decorative Arts for the past 35 years and has a background as a Fine Art Auctioneer and Valuer. Originally with a degree in Humanities specialising in American Studies and History of Art, He studied for a post graduate diploma in Fine Art and Chattel Valuation at Southampton Institute in the early 1990's and went on to become Fine Art Manager at Biddle and Webb Auctioneers in Birmingham. He was a Professional Valuer and member of the ISVA and RICS. Since then he has worked in High End London Retail with an International Clientele, in property sales, as an Auctioneer for West Country Salerooms, and, his greatest love, Antique Dealing.

Amelia was educated in Art History and gained a First Class Honours in the History of Drawing and Printmaking at Camberwell College of Arts. She continued her love of objects on paper with research projects funded by the British Library in the Special Collections Department of Birmingham University Library. She is a Fellow of the Royal Asiatic Society and her interests spread from Tibetan Thangka painting, prints and drawings by British travellers in Asia to Arts and Crafts Jewellery.
